Presentation Abstract
Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
Globally, trends are moving towards emerging technologies and more focus is currently on RPA and AI. We use RPA in our daily business processes. RPA solutions are applied to a multitude of cross -functional processes across any industry. Organizations of varying scale, size, and structure leverage RPA to streamline and automate specific manual processes. The benefits that they realize typically include improved customer experience, cost reduction, and increased speed to market. RPA can make jobs easier and create time for other responsibilities or to explore new capabilities.
As organizations become data-driven, more people are becoming more empowered to work with data, transform and analyze it, and discover insights. RPA is about letting humans work on what humans excel at while using robots to handle tasks that get in the way. With RPA, people get to perform more meaningful work, be creative, collaborate across teams, and build deeper connections with clients.
The future depends on high-quality data and strong data governance, in the midst of a culture of learning and innovation. We should understand that RPA is less about replacing people’s jobs and rather about doing those repetitive rules-based and repetitive tasks that people don’t like doing themselves.
Presentation Outline • Introduction to RPA • Robots in the workplace • Benefits of RPA
“We shouldn’t think of bots as a threat to our jobs, but rather as a way to become more efficient and improve the quality of what we do.”
